Welcome to Plas Y Bryn Medical Centre

With patients' needs at the heart of everything we do, our website has been designed to make it easy for you to gain instant access to the information you need. As well as specific practice details such as opening hours and how to register, you’ll find a wealth of useful pages covering a wide range of health issues along with links to other relevant medical organisations.

'myGP' Smartphone App - 1st Surgery In Wales To Trial

We are pleased to confirm that Plas Y Bryn is the 1st Surgery in Wales to implement this technology. Smartphone users (Android 5.0 and above or iOS 9.0 and above for iphone) can visit their app store and download the 'myGP' app. Initially we have a limited number of routine Doctor appointments that can be booked via the app, but you can use the app to cancel any appointment made with a Doctor or Nurse - this will save you time because you won't need to ring the Surgery. We will be making more types of appointments availble to book on the app in the near future.

Booking Appointments At Reception Between 08:30 - 09:00

As from 3rd August 2015, between 8.30am - 9.00am, appointments can only be made by telephone. Appointments can be made at reception from 9.00am. Ringing the surgery between 08:30-09:00 will give you the best chance of seeing a Doctor that day. By 09:00, all the appointment slots for that day have usually been booked.

The Surgery will be closed between 1pm - 5pm on Wed 13th Sept 2017. You can see future training dates in the 'Opening Times' section.
