Clinics & Services

Antenatal Clinic

You do not need to see a Dr if you are in early pregnancy, please book directly with the Midwife. The midwives attached to our surgery have antenatal clinics on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. These are appointment only clinics and booked through reception.

Contraception

General contraceptive advice and prescriptions are provided by all Practice Nurses. There is also an implant and coil clinic- please enquire at reception for details. This service is provided by a lady Dr and Nurse. Please avoid booking a Drs appointment for simple contraceptive advice and repeat prescriptions for the pill, a Practice Nurse can deal with this.

Childhood Immunisation

Babies and young children are sent appointments for their immunisations with the practice nurse.

Child Health Surveillance

An eight week check is undertaken at the first immunisation appointment. This is done by one of the doctors, by appointment only. You will be contacted by letter when this appointment is due.

Baby Clinic

The health visitor or an assistant is available on Wednesday mornings between 09:45 & 12:00 for advice and weighing. Appointments required.

INR Clinic

Clinics are held Tuesday and Thursday mornings

Other Clinics

The following clinics are also available within the practice by appointment, but only after referral from your doctor:

  • Minor Operations and wart freezing
