Welcome to Plas Y Bryn Medical Centre

With patients' needs at the heart of everything we do, our website has been designed to make it easy for you to gain instant access to the information you need. As well as specific practice details such as opening hours and how to register, you’ll find a wealth of useful pages covering a wide range of health issues along with links to other relevant medical organisations.

B12 Injections

Do you receive regular B12 injections? Please see the Further Information section below for information regarding these injections.

Covid Passports / Certificate

Patients who are registered with a GP in Wales are now able to obtain their vaccination status via the digital NHS COVID pass, after they have verified their identity using the NHS log-in. This will only work if the Practice has your correct personal information recorded and if the patient has received their 1st and 2nd jab in Wales or England. If the details do not match on both the NHS COVID pass and the Practice records, please complete the e-Consult form to tell us what information requires amending. Once your GP record has been updated it can take up to 5 days for this to be updated in the NHS Log-in and in the Covid Pass. See link in 'Services' tab for further information.

Covid-19 Vaccination Programme

We have now finished administering the COVID-19 vaccination here at Plas Y Bryn. If you were unable to attend for your 2nd jab, or you now wish to receive the vaccine, please contact the booking centre on 03000 840004 to arrange an appointment.

Flu Vaccinations 2021 - Updated 7/9/21

As you may have seen in the media, we are facing a delay of one, or possibly two weeks, in receiving the flu vaccination. We will be contacting all patients that were booked in up to, and including, 21st Sept 2021 to cancel your initial appointment. This will affect approximately 400 patients and every effort will be made to re-book these appointments as soon as we can. We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause but the circumstances are out of our control. We will update this webpage as soon as me have more information.
